[RANT] Lighting shop in The Strand, Kota Damansara

i am SO ANNOYED at this lighting shop... i wanted to buy these spotlights

then they dun have stock for the style i wanted (they got sample) - so i got the track 1st...

then i go again.. they say the sample they took is wrong.. only 1 (out of 3) is ngam.. so i take 1... and ask them to send to me when they get the rest

then waited.. no reply.. i had to go to their shop..

i went 4 times they 'out' or 'lunch hour'

then so they finally give me the two others... and i go back.. realise the LED bulb they give both tak ngam wtih the one i wanted (one TOO BIG, one is NOT NGAM white balance)

so i call them a few times they no reply .. sms the boss no reply.. then one day reply.. say will deliver to me.. THEY DIDNT. then i call again say IN IPOH will deliver TODAY

today i sms NO REPLY........

 Cheap lighting from Superior in Damansara Uptown.

 Curtain rails from a small ah pek shop in Subang Jaya.

 Industrial cast iron light outside from Superior in Uptown too.

Interiors painted with Jotun Majestic Royal Matt... slight off-white.

  White! White wooden frames painted with Jotun Gardex White.

 

Some lighting examples... a lot of T5's, cast iron outdoor lamps, pill-like white stuff for the bathrooms, lots of old school fittings for dangling lamps that will be fitted with DIY lampshades etc.

Crack in the terrazzo

 Main slab of terrazzo in the living room had a noticeable hairline crack. Terrazzo man will come and inspect this next week hopefully. Hope this can be fixed! The earth around the area is unstable? Or was there an impact? No idea... He may just say it's beyond their control... :(

More views of the hollow iron frame... it's installed a bit higher than the previous awning so the water can drip to the sides (and onto the other neighbours' awning :(! The iron person said it will also make the place lighter/airier. Proportionally a bit off from the façade vantage point but it will do!?

 The drainage hole from the balcony is now another problem! 

Has to be a pipe leading downwards now...
